Seminar for Coaches
Osh State University organized a training seminar for coaches working with entry-level volleyball players in Osh and the surrounding region.
The seminar was held from December 26th to 28th, and was attended by approximately 70 coaches. Nurbek Kalykov, a representative of the Volleyball Federation of Kyrgyzstan, moderated the seminar. During the event, participants gained theoretical and practical knowledge on volleyball teaching methods at the initial stage, age-appropriate training, and technical and tactical development.
Furthermore, modern training methods, safety regulations, and improving athletes' physical fitness were discussed. The seminar also provided coaches with the opportunity to share experiences and get answers to their questions.
According to the organizers, the goal of this training seminar was to develop volleyball in the region and improve the quality of work with young athletes.
