12-Year Education: Primary School Learning Process Discussed

The Institute of Pedagogy, Art and Journalism held a meeting devoted to the current state of teaching subjects in primary general education.

The Director of the Institute, Zamirbek Bozhonov, spoke about the need to transition to a 12-year education system, its concept, and its importance in adapting education to modern requirements. Zhyldyz Mamrazak kyzy, Chief Specialist of the Osh City Education Department, presented information on 12-year education and the “Altyn Kazyk” program. Methodologist Gulbarchyn Matisakova addressed issues related to the effective use of textbooks.

Primary school teachers and students who had completed their teaching internships shared their challenges, experiences, and methodological achievements in the learning process.

The meeting was attended by faculty members of the Institute, representatives of the Osh City Education Department, teachers from Secondary School No. 18 named after Alisher Navoi and Secondary School No. 35 named after Zhoro Atabayev, fifth-year part-time students teaching in primary grades, as well as full-time third- and fourth-year students.

The event provided an opportunity for students and teachers to enhance their practical skills within the framework of the 12-year education system.
