On November 27, 2025, a festive gala evening dedicated to the 75th birthday of Nina Aleksandrovna Eshonova, Associate Professor of the Department of Russian Philology, was held in the round hall of the Department of Russian Philology at the Institute of Foreign Languages and Cultures. For more than 50 years, Nina Aleksandrovna has made significant contributions to the Department of Methods of Teaching Russian Language and Literature.
She is a respected methodologist and the author of several textbooks and teaching materials on Russian literature for national schools. Hundreds of school teachers and young university lecturers have been trained under her methodological guidance. She has shown remarkable organizational and creative skills as a curator of student groups, director of a variety theater, and mentor to young teachers. Nina Aleksandrovna was also among the first at Osh State University to establish a critical thinking laboratory.
The anniversary celebration was attended by the Vice-Rector for External Relations, Kursant Attokurov, and the Chairman of the University Trade Union Association, Absamat Sattarov, who delivered congratulatory speeches. The honoree received a certificate of honor from the university and the city council of deputies, an anniversary medal from the trade unions, and a monetary award.
The evening featured concert performances, as well as warm speeches from colleagues, alumni, and students. The celebration took place in a heartfelt and joyful atmosphere.
