20 October, representatives of various ethnic, cultural, and social groups of Kyrgyzstan, along with scientists, specialists, and representatives of international organizations from fraternal countries such as Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, gathered at Osh State University.
A conference titled “National Spirit and Unity of Peoples: The Experience of Kyrgyzstan and International Practice” is currently underway at the university, focusing on national values and ways to strengthen unity among peoples. As part of the “Citizen of Kyrgyzstan” concept, presentations aimed at fostering patriotism among youth and strengthening public identity through the exchange of international experiences are also being delivered.
“Such dialogue serves as a platform for mutual understanding, partnership, and forward-looking strategic thinking. I firmly believe that the outcomes of this conference will contribute to strengthening civil society in our country, raising the national spirit, and expanding international cooperation,” said Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Rector of Osh State University.
The international conference is held within the framework of the Doctrine “National Spirit – Global Excellence,” the State Programme for the Preservation and Development of National Traditions for 2022–2027, and the implementation of the civic identity concept “Citizen of Kyrgyzstan.” The event was jointly initiated by Osh State University, the Assembly of the People of Kyrgyzstan, the Osh City Hall, and the Representative Office of the President in the Osh Region.
