During the International Congress on Water Resources and Physical Education held in Poland on October 15–17, Rector of Osh State University Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov signed two significant cooperation agreements.

The first agreement was signed with Eden University (Zambia), and the second — with the Academy of Physical Education and Mass Sports (Kazakhstan). Under these agreements, the parties will collaborate in the fields of education, scientific research, and academic mobility, developing mechanisms for effective multilateral cooperation.

Special focus will be given to training specialists in physical culture and sports, as well as in water safety — professionals capable of conducting rescue operations. In this regard, a large-scale joint project is being developed with universities in Kazakhstan and Africa to adopt and implement European best practices. As part of the project, special courses will be introduced, and new academic programs are planned to be launched.

These agreements mark an important step toward strengthening Osh State University’s international partnerships and expanding its role in the global academic community.
