Rector of Osh State University Participates in International Congress in Poland

The Rector of Osh State University, Professor Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, took part in an international congress in Poland dedicated to water resources and physical education, where he delivered a presentation.

In his speech, Professor Kozhobekov addressed current issues in sports education in Kyrgyzstan, highlighted the achievements of Osh State University in this field, and shared his experience in training highly qualified specialists.

“Participation in such a large-scale forum reflects our university’s commitment to integrating into the international scientific community and expanding partnerships. This congress is an important platform for acquiring new knowledge, exchanging experiences, and implementing joint projects. Topics such as physical education, sports, and safe living are particularly significant for fostering a healthy and active generation,” the Rector emphasized.

The congress brought together leading experts, scientists, and practitioners from around the world in the fields of water safety, rescue operations, tourism, physical culture, and sports. Keynote speakers included renowned figures such as Dr. Dirk Bissinger, President of the International Life Saving Federation (ILSE); Pavel Blesiak, President of the Polish Association of Volunteer Water Rescuers (WOPR); and Jost Birens, Dean of the International Lifesaving Academy.
