Osh State University organizes Uzbek literature, art, and culture days
15 October, Osh State University launched a cultural event entitled ‘Days of Uzbek Literature, Art and Culture’.
The event is being held in conjunction with the Consulate General of Uzbekistan in Osh. In the main building of the university, guests visited an exhibition of applied arts, national costumes, musical instruments and crafts of the Uzbek, Kyrgyz, Kazakh and Turkic peoples.
The event continued with the theme ‘Literature, Art and Culture – the Heart of Two Nations’ and concluded with a discussion on cultural and scientific cooperation and a large concert programme.
The Days of Uzbek Literature, Art and Culture were organised with the aim of strengthening friendly and cultural cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan and strengthening ties between the two nations in the fields of science, education, literature and art. The event was organised by the A. Navoi Centre for Uzbek Language, Literature and Culture at Osh State University.
