The Institute of Pedagogy, Arts and Journalism has launched a new start-up project aimed at families with young children and students of pedagogical universities. The initiative, called ‘Student with Auntie!’, allows parents to have their children looked after in the evenings, especially during holidays.

For example, parents can temporarily leave their children at the nursery while they attend a party or event. The initiator and leader of the project is Zamirbek Bojonov, acting director of the institute. According to him, the start-up works in partnership with the Yiman nursery at Osh State University. The team consists of nine specialists.

The project is designed for children aged two to seven. Working hours: from 5 p.m. to midnight. Parents contact us in advance via WhatsApp, specify the date, time and number of children, and make a payment via the MBank app. Parents drop off and pick up their children themselves.

‘This project is beneficial for both sides: parents can leave their children in a reliable facility and relax. Students gain practical experience in their field,’ said Bojonov.

The project was created in response to a shortage of playgrounds and temporary childcare services in cafes and restaurants, as well as a lack of suitable jobs for students. The main goal of the start-up is to train students of the preschool department of Osh State University in the workplace using a dual training method. At the same time, parents get a reliable and safe educational institution.
