OshSU students won the republican competition “I am a reporter”
Students of the Journalism and Film Academy departments of OshSU took part in the republican competition “I am a reporter” held at the Kyrgyz National University. Students prepared materials in the areas of advertising, documentaries and special news reporting.
As a result, the main prize of the competition was won by the documentary film “Murap”, shot by film academy students Atabek Kurmushev, Taalay Zhoroev, Kairat Atagulov, Maruf Shkokirov and Sayfidin Shaiyrbek uulu. A total of 63 documentaries were submitted to the competition. Students prepared a documentary film under the guidance of film academy instructor Erkingul Mambetakunova.
Also, a special news reporting by Tolubay Burkanbekov, a student of the Journalism Department, entitled “Telephone Scams,” received a gift from the organizers.
