Osh State University Delegation Visits Tokyo Medical and Dental University
From March 27th to 29th, a delegation from Osh State University, led by rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, visited the Medical and Dental University in Tokyo.
On the first day of the trip, representatives from Osh State University met with renowned scientists and professors such as Kazuki Takada, Shuji Tohda, and Koji Morishita. They were introduced to cutting-edge research programs in healthcare and visited a unique emergency department and medicine facility. Subsequently, they met with representatives from postgraduate education programs and professors Ayame Yamazaki and Keiichi Akita.
The Tokyo Medical and Dental University (TMDU) is recognized as Japan's only comprehensive medical university offering undergraduate and graduate educational programs.
At the undergraduate level, TMDU trains specialists in medicine and dentistry, while at the graduate level, it focuses on preparing researchers (both in fundamental and clinical research) and instructors.
TMDU is globally renowned and ranks among the top three universities in Japan according to QS rankings. In the field of dentistry, the university holds the top position in Japan and ranks among the top five globally.
