Implementation of 11 Startups at Osh State University under the “Zhash Tabyshker" Project

In Bishkek, an event titled “Zhash Tabyshker: Results and New Perspectives” took place, with the participation of Deputy Plenipotentiary Representative of the President in the Osh Region, Ilyaz Tashbaev, Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Director of the Business Park at Osh State University, Erlan Kamalov, project beneficiaries, and students.

The event featured presentations by project beneficiaries, panel discussions, an entrepreneurs' fair, a photo exhibition showcasing the work of youth organizations, and discussions.

The “Zhash Tabyshker” project has been implemented since 2021 by Enactus Kyrgyzstan with support from the European Union. Within the project, funding has been provided to 15 rural entrepreneurs, 5 youth-focused organizations, and 6 innovative agricultural centers have been established in 6 universities.

“In 2022, an innovative agro-center was established at Osh State University. During this period, 11 startup projects have been implemented, including Artificial Insemination to Improve Livestock Quality, Preparation and Grinding of Animal Feed, Production of Flour Products, and others. A total of 1,778,000 soms have been allocated from the OshSU Business Park, USAID, and the Aga Khan Foundation to implement these startups,” noted Erlan Kamalov.

Osh State University was honored with a letter of gratitude from Enactus Kyrgyzstan and a certificate of successful completion of the “Zhash Tabyshker” project.
