OshSU expands cooperation with Ural State Medical University
Vice-rector for long-term development and international cooperation of Ural State Medical University Mikhail Flyagin and dean of the faculty of international students Elena Bogdanova visited OshSU and met with the rector Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov.
At the meeting, future cooperation between Ural State Medical University and Osh State University in education, science, and culture was discussed. Furthermore, there was talk about continuing collaboration in the fields of double-degree education, academic programs for students majoring in General Medicine and Dentistry, and student admission activities.
The Ural State Medical University delegation will be at OshSU for three days. They will visit the university faculties and become familiar with the conditions established in the field of education and scientific research. Also, the guests will talk about joint educational plans and potential collaboration with the academic staff of the Medicine Faculty.
In 2021, OshSU and Ural State Medical University signed an agreement for double diploma program in General Medicine, Stomatology, and Pediatrics. Currently, 35 students are studying at the General Medicine and Stomatology Department.
