The Rector of OshSU became an Honorary Professor at Namangan University of Business and Science.
Professor Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, Rector of Osh State University, has been awarded the title of "Honorary Professor" by the Namangan University of Business and Science in Uzbekistan.
The title was conferred in recognition of his contributions to the development of academic and scientific cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
"I view this award as clear evidence of the fruitful academic and scientific collaboration between Osh State University and the Namangan University of Business and Science, as well as a testament to the centuries-old friendship and good-neighborly relations between our two peoples," the Rector stated.
He expressed his confidence that the partnership between the two universities would continue to flourish, opening new opportunities for conducting joint scientific research, expanding academic mobility, and implementing innovative educational projects.
The title was presented during the "StudEXPO–2026" international student fair held in the city of Namangan. A delegation from the university, led by Rector Kozhobekov, participated in the event and secured prize-winning positions.
Representatives from nearly 50 higher education institutions from Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan attended the event.
