
A delegation from Namangan State University (NSU), led by the Dean of the Faculty of World Languages, Kosim Sidikov, visited Osh State University from April 21 to 22. The group of eleven representatives familiarized themselves with the academic activities, faculty members, infrastructure, and student life at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty.
During the visit, Associate Professor Nozima Mamadjanova from the English Language Department of NSU delivered a guest lecture on “Methodology of Teaching Foreign Languages,” while PhD Dilafruz Sarymsakova presented on “Publishing Articles in SCOPUS Journals: How to Select the Right Journal.” The lectures were attended by faculty members, postgraduate students, and undergraduates from the Department of Chinese Language and Sinology. In addition, NSU associate professors conducted master classes on English language teaching methods and shared best practices.
The delegation also held discussions with Uzbek students currently studying at the Kyrgyz-Chinese Faculty. They were given a tour of various institutes, faculties, and centers at Osh State University, including the “Next Generation Hub.”
The visit concluded with discussions focused on enhancing collaboration between OshSU and NSU, including expanding academic mobility and organizing joint scholarly events. Agreements were made regarding participation in an international scientific conference hosted by NSU on May 12-13 and promoting the exchange of experience between faculty and students of both universities.
