Students from Osh State University secured top honors at the inter-university student Olympiad hosted by the Kyrgyz-Uzbek International University in Osh. Among 97 participants, Osh State University students achieved outstanding results—eighteen earned first place, twelve secured second place, and nine came in third.
The regional Olympiad, held on April 19, brought together students from universities across the Batken and Jalal-Abad regions, as well as Osh city. Out of six participating institutions, Osh State University emerged as the overall leader based on the competition results.
The purpose of the Olympiad was to assess students' academic knowledge, encourage inter-university cooperation in key subjects, and foster a spirit of friendship and mutual respect. It also aimed to enhance students' motivation for in-depth subject study and stimulate their interest in scientific and creative pursuits.
Responsibility for organizing the next regional inter-university Olympiad has been passed on to Batken State University.
