Aida Zulpukarova and Anara Jumabaeva, associate professors from the Department of American and Translation Studies at the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures, paid a visit to Seattle University, USA. They met with Job Korb Nice, the head of the university's graduate department, and Trish Henley, the vice-chancellors for academic affairs, to discuss potential bilateral cooperation. Throughout the meeting, they provided insights into OshSU's accomplishments and plans.

“During the discussions, we explored plans for implementing academic exchanges in various fields such as law, international relations, IT, business and management, and philology. We also discussed collaboration opportunities in education and scientific research. Our engagement with Seattle University began in the summer of 2023 during a joint program with US universities, followed by a series of online webinars between OshSU and various universities in the USA. As a result of these interactions, Seattle University extended an invitation, and we anticipate future visits from their representatives to OshSU,” stated Anara Jumabaeva.

Established in 1891, Seattle University is situated in Seattle, Washington. The university comprises 8 colleges and schools offering 64 undergraduate and 28 graduate programs.
