On February 21, the Industrial and Pedagogical College hosted the inauguration of the Center for Socio-Cultural Research. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Abylabek Asankanov, a professor at Kyrgyz National University, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs at Osh State University Elzarbek Esharov, the Head of the Department of Scientific Research, and other scholars.
The center focuses on scientific research in disciplines such as history, sociology, geography, and economics. Additionally, the IBM SPSS Statistics 22 software has been fully integrated to facilitate social surveys and academic analysis.
Established as part of the project “Research and Forecasting of Ethnodemographic Processes among Ethnic Communities in the Batken, Jalal-Abad, and Osh Regions of Kyrgyzstan,” the research center aims to advance studies in these critical areas.
