At the Faculty of Theology of Osh State University, the “Advanced Training Course for Religious Clergy” has been launched. About fifty religious clergy members from Osh region and Osh city are participating in the training.
The course curriculum covers current issues in the field of religion and is aimed at providing knowledge on topics such as the concept of traditional Islam, religion and law, religious extremism, prevention of radicalism, history of madhhabs, national culture, and religion. This creates an opportunity for clergy members to better understand their role and responsibility in society.
The main goal of the course is to enhance the scientific and practical professionalism of religious clergy, strengthen spiritual and moral values in the country, and contribute to promoting correct religious understanding in society.
The initiative is being implemented within the framework of cooperation between Osh State University, the Southern Regional Department of the National Agency for Religious Affairs and Interethnic Relations, the Turkish Diyanet Organization, and the Spiritual Administration of Muslims of Kyrgyzstan.
