OshSU Scholars Attend World Resources Forum in Beijing
From October 9 to 13, scholars from Osh State University participated in the first World Resources Forum organized by the China Society of Natural Resources in Beijing.
The delegation included Abdurashit Nizamiev, Doctor of Geographical Sciences and Professor, and Associate Professors Abdizhapar Akkulov and Elmurat Obdunov, Candidates of Geographical Sciences.
During the forum’s plenary session, Professor Nizamiev presented a paper titled “Integrated Model for Restoring Degraded Ecosystems in Kyrgyzstan” and received a certificate for an outstanding presentation.
He also became a permanent member of the “Belt and Road” International Union of Scientists. Delegation members Abdizhapar Akkulov and Elmurat Obdunov were also accepted into the union.
The forum was organized by the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research of the Chinese Academy of Sciences.
