Medical College Students Visit Elderly Residents
To mark the International Day of Older Persons on October 1, volunteer students of the Uzgen International Medical College of Osh State University visited elderly people living alone.
The students helped the elderly with household chores and tidied their homes. They also spent time talking with them and listening to their stories and needs. At the end of the visit, the elderly expressed their gratitude to the students and gave them their blessings.
The event was organized jointly with the Uzgen Interdistrict Department of Labor, Social Security and Migration. The initiative aimed to show respect for older generations and provide attention to elderly people in need of social support.
