Sanjarbek Tazhimatov Delivers Guest Lecture on Kyrgyz Civic Identity

On March 19, Sanjarbek Tazhimatov, a national expert for the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) project and a member of the Presidential Expert Council on Strengthening National Unity and Religious Policy, visited Osh State University.

During his visit, he delivered a lecture to students, graduate students, and faculty at the Institute of Oriental Studies on the topic “The Concept of the Kyrgyz Citizen: Key Issues of National and State Building.” Tazhimatov also engaged with the audience in a Q&A session, emphasizing that this concept plays a crucial role in fostering a unified civic identity while respecting and preserving the ethnocultural diversity of the country’s various communities.

In addition to his expertise, Tazhimatov holds the title of first-class adviser in state and civil service.
