The “Mr. OshSU 2025” Winner Announced
On February 21, the “Mr. OshSU 2025” competition took place at the “Kyrgyzstan” cinema in Osh.
Eight distinguished students, selected from various faculties and colleges of Osh State University, competed in four rounds to showcase their skills and talents. Following the evaluations, Timur Yesenbaev, a student from the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technology, was crowned “Mr. OshSU 2025”.
Second place was secured by Bakbergen Rasuljan uulu from the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, alongside Beksultan Pamir uulu from the Institute of Natural Science, Physical Education, Tourism, and Agricultural Technology. The third-place title went to Adakhan Idinov, a student at the Faculty of Medicine.
In addition to the main awards, participants received special titles, including “Intellectual Mister of OshSU,” “Instagram Mister of OshSU,” “Talented Mister of OshSU,” and “Best Idea.” The winners and nominees were honored with cash prizes, diplomas, certificates, and valuable gifts provided by the university.
Vice-Rector for Social Work and Youth Policy, Nurzhamal Mapaeva, emphasized that the competition has become a cherished annual tradition, aiming to instill national values, foster intellect, creativity, and patriotism among students.
The event is traditionally held each year on Defender of the Fatherland Day.
