On September 16, Tursun Yuldashev, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences and Professor, was awarded the title of “Honorary Professor of Osh State University.”

The title was awarded in recognition of his contributions to education and science, as well as his close scientific collaboration with OshSU.

Rector Kudayberdi Kozhobekov noted that Professor Yuldashev is a renowned scholar who has conducted research in the fields of functional-differential equations and mathematical analysis. The scholars who attended the event highlighted his scientific achievements and career and congratulated him on receiving the honorary title.

On the same day, the professor delivered a lecture at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies on the topic “Density of Abstract Solutions of Functional-Differential Equations and Properties of Hyperspaces of Superdistributions.” The lecture covered abstract solutions of functional-differential equations, their properties, and contemporary research in this field.

Tursun Yuldashev regularly conducts scientific seminars and lectures at OshSU and shares his experience with young researchers. Since 2024, he has been working as a professor at the Department of Higher Mathematics at Tashkent State Transport University and as a researcher at the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies.

Yuldashev is the author of more than 500 scientific and methodological publications and research reports. Currently, he serves as a scientific supervisor for three PhD students in Applied Mathematics and Informatics at OshSU and as a scientific advisor to two doctoral students. The professor is among the top two percent of the world’s most-cited scientists.
