Finnish Ambassador Visits Osh State University
On April 29, the Ambassador of Finland to Kyrgyzstan, Janne Heiskanen, paid an official visit to Osh State University. This was the first formal visit by representatives of the Finnish Embassy to the university.
He was welcomed by Vice-Rector for External Relations Kursant Attokurov. During the meeting, the university’s activities, international cooperation projects, and integration into the global education system were discussed. Both sides explored opportunities for cooperation with Finnish universities. The ambassador expressed gratitude for the warm reception and stated readiness to support academic collaboration. He also visited university facilities and gave a lecture to students about Finland being one of the happiest countries in the world.
