OshSU Takes Third Place in National Basketball Championship
At Universiade-2026 held in Bishkek, the men’s basketball team of Osh State University won the bronze medal in the top league.
The competition was held from March 11 to April 27 in 15 sports. The overall team results were:
1st place – Kyrgyz State Academy of Physical Education and Sports
2nd place – Kyrgyz State Technical University named after I. Razzakov
3rd place – Osh State University
The OshSU team was coached by Ruslan Mazitov. The team members were:
Davlatbek Turdumamatov, Mirhoxhidin Tokhtasinov, Erlan Mataev, Abdulhamid Nuradilov, Nursherek Talipov, Adilet Atabek uulu,
Marlen Isakov, Akylbek Tiraev, Alikhan Jolchuev, Daniyar Atabaev, and Marsel Kurmanbekov.
