Well-known educator and founder of the “Mothers' School,” Gapyr Madaminov stated this during a seminar held on April 14 at the Institute of History and Law of Osh State University.
Students of the institute and history teachers from the city of Osh attended the event. During the seminar, he emphasized that 80–90% of a pupil’s or student’s success depends on their independent work. According to Madaminov, teachers should not simply provide ready-made knowledge but should create conditions that allow students to acquire knowledge independently.
Participants were also introduced to practical recommendations that can be applied in the learning process based on the book “Culture of Intellectual Work.”
The event was organized to guide students toward self-development and to promote new teaching methods in education.
Gapyr Madaminov is a well-known Kyrgyz innovative educator and an Honored Teacher of Kyrgyzstan. He currently leads Experimental Gymnasium No. 3 in the Leylek District of Batken Region. Madaminov developed a unique teaching methodology that includes subjects such as “Culture of Intellectual Work” and “Mothers' School.” He is also known to the public as the prototype of the main character in the TV series “Agay.”
