Rahim Baatyrov, a lecturer from Osh State University, completed a research visit at Kyushu University in Fukuoka, Japan.
Within the SATREPS project, he received short-term training in atmospheric chemistry and air pollution modeling, gaining practical skills and working with the WRF-Chem model. He also conducted numerical calculations and visualized results using Python.
The project, supported by the Government of Japan, focuses on studying air quality and its impact on human health. Another OSU representative, Professor Abdykerim Kurbanaliev, is currently undergoing long-term training at Kyushu University.
