Aiperi Abidinova, a student of the Faculty of Medicine, won 2nd place at the international histology olympiad held on December 10 at Samarkand State Medical University in Uzbekistan.

Participants in the olympiad completed 43 types of tests and demonstrated practical skills, including working with 7th-generation simulation robots, which allowed students to test their competencies in conditions close to a real clinical environment.

Aiperi Abidinova was trained for the competition by senior lecturer Kanikey Janibek kyzy from the Department of Morphological Disciplines of the Faculty of Medicine.

More than 500 students from over 30 countries—including Germany, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, China, South Korea, Tajikistan, Russia, Turkey, Azerbaijan, and Belarus—took part in the international event. Foreign specialists also demonstrated practical skills in fundamental medicine, scientific research methodology, and modern clinical methods.
