Our Students Support Elderly Residents at Social Institution
Students Provide Assistance and Learn from Elderly Residents at the "Boorukerdik" Social Institution.
Students from the Primary Education, English Language, and International Business programs at the Higher School of International Educational Programs visited the Boorukerdik social institution in Osh, where they met with elderly residents and learned about their needs.
As volunteers, the students raised funds and used the proceeds to purchase essential household items for the institution, including vacuum cleaners, multi-purpose mops, detergents, and hygiene products. They also brought stationery, fruit, and food supplies for the children.
During their visit, the students interacted with the elderly residents, met with the children and staff, and toured the living facilities of the institution. The event aimed to instill values such as kindness, humanity, and social responsibility in the students.
