Teaching Epics with AI
Faculty members of the Department of Kyrgyz Language at the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication, Tazagul Aybashova and Nazgul Takhirova, delivered presentations on a timely and innovative topic at the conference “The Epic of Manas and the Age of Technology.”
In her presentation, Tazagul Aybashova discussed preserving the national cultural code, teaching statehood concepts within the Epic of Manas through artificial intelligence, and fostering students’ cultural identity. She also highlighted the potential of integrating the spiritual values of the epic with modern technologies.
Associate Professor Nazgul Takhirova presented her research on developing ethnocultural and ethnopedagogical competencies among students majoring in Manas Studies through IT-based projects. She emphasized the growing role of digital solutions in contemporary education.
The event took place on December 4 at Osh Technological University in honor of the Day of the Epic of Manas.
