2025 Applicants: Winter University Admission Begins
The Ministry of Science, Education, and Innovation has announced the start of winter admission to higher education institutions for the 2025–2026 academic year.
Admission periods:

First intake: December 23–29, 2025
-
Second intake: January 12–17, 2026
-
Third intake: January 19–24, 2026
-
Fourth intake: January 26–31, 2026
Winter admission is available only for contract-based places.
The list of universities and programs participating in the winter intake, based on the results of the National Testing (NRT), is available at https://2020.edu.gov.kg/.
Admission for foreign citizens is conducted through https://edugate.edu.gov.kg/.
NRT results from the 2025 testing are valid for the winter intake. The rules and minimum threshold scores remain the same as those used during the summer admission period. Applicants can register in their personal accounts and review detailed instructions on participating in the competitive selection process at https://2020.edu.gov.kg/.
Earlier, in order to expand access to higher education, a mechanism was introduced allowing Kyrgyz and foreign citizens to apply twice during the academic year.
