A media laboratory has been opened at the Faculty of Kyrgyz Philology and Journalism within the framework of the "Accessible and Safe City" project.
The opening ceremony was attended by vice rectors of Osh State University Z. Bozhonov, Zh. Artykova, teachers, students, journalists and representatives of the general public of the city.
This project was implemented by Osh State University jointly with the Soros Foundation-Kyrgyzstan and the public association "Interbilim-Osh".
"The media laboratory will create conditions for obtaining additional knowledge in journalism, gaining practical skills and, we hope, become a school for students, young novice journalists and bloggers," said the initiator of the project, head of the Interbilim association, associate professor of the journalism department G. Mamasalieva.
