December 28, 2018 in honor of the 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov the closing ceremony of the scientific and cultural week called “We are alive because, remembering the past, we expect the future” was held in the Faculty of Theology of Osh State University. Participants included Vice-Rector of Osh State University for State Language, Associate Professor Arstanbekov A.; Vice-Rector of Osh State University for Social and Educational Affairs, Associate Professor Koldoshov T.; Acting Dean of the Faculty of Theology Zuuridinov Oskon; Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theology Abdulmezhit Islamoglu; Deputy Dean of the Theological Department on Scientific Issues, Associate Professor Aripov Niyazali and other teachers. Scientific and cultural week was held from December 24 to December 28. The opening took place on December 24 and the students handed over their articles. On December 25 there was an “Intellectual game” among students, on December 26 - “A competition in poetry”. Also, each group of the Faculty of Theology and theological college decorated hallway of the Faculty with wall newspapers and decorations, illustrating the works of Chingiz Aitmatov. The winners of the above events were awarded with diplomas and prize money.
