On May 11, Osh State University hosted the creative evening of the graduate of Osh State University, Honored Worker of Culture of the Republic, laureate of the International Prize (Türksoy), the author of several poetic collections of talented translator and journalist Karlabas Bakirov.
The evening was attended by colleagues of the poet, fellow students of the poet, university graduates, students and teachers of the faculty of Kyrgyz philology and journalism, fans of poetry.
The evening was led by the rector of Osh State University Professor Kanybek Isakov who congratulated the graduates on the 40th anniversary of the graduation of our university and laid out the life and creative path of K. Bakirov.
During the event, students of philology, members of the creative association "Zhiger" read the the author`s poem.
Bakirov K. was born in 1954 in the village of Kyzyl Ozgorush of Toktogul district. Then he studied at OshPI. Most popular works are "Adashkan Kentavr", "Korgondogular zana cheksizdik", "Kuklchun kyaldar", "Araldagh Shamal", "Aruu insan", "Ealingen Irmammer", he is the author of the translation of the Sumerian epic "Gilgamesh.
k.At the plenary session there were reports by Associate Professor A. J. Attokurov, Associate Professor Zh.K. Zhaentayev, Professor Sh. Aliev, U. Esengulov, Professor E.E. Sina, who noted various aspects of Bekboev and Nazarov`s scientific activity, and also highlighted the current problems of modern general secondary and vocational education.
In the second half of the day the work continued within the framework of five sections, where a number of scientists and specialists on the given problems.
The conference was organized by the Faculty of MIT of the Osh State University.
