On April 2, a round table on "Strengthening of humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Russia in the context of regional development" was held in Osh State University, initiated by the Club of Regional Experts "Pikir" and organized with the support of the Faculty of International Relations and the University Administration of Osh State University.

The event was attended by Bishkek experts: political analyst and co-chairman of the regional club of experts "Pikir" Igor Shestakov, club coordinator, ex-MP of the KR, political scientist Imanaliev Elvira Sansyzbaeva, and independent journalist Krek Natalia.

Presentations were made by Professor Zulpukarov K.Z. - on the role and importance of the Russian language in contemporary Kyrgyz society, associate professor Omorkulov B.K. - on the aspects of Russia`s perception of modern Kyrgyz youth and the dean of the Faculty of International Relations of Osh State University, associate professor E. Kamalov - migration processes in Kyrgyzstan.

Presentations were widely discussed by present students, undergraduates and teachers of the Faculty of International Relations of Osh State University. The well-known publicist and public figure Salim Sharipov, professor Nurdinova K.Kh. Students and undergraduates received answers to their numerous questions.

A great interest was caused by the speech of associate professor Baysubanov M.T. who also performed the legendary song of Oleg Anofriev "There is only a moment ...".

The vice-rector of Osh State University for International Relations, Professor Abdulaviev A.O. participated in the round table and acted as a moderator.
