On November 30,2017, the competition “Best in English” among the first and second year students was held at the Faculty of World Languages and Cultures.

It was organized by the staff of the Chair of English Phonetics and Crammar.

The main aim of the event is :

- motivate students in learning English;

- practice language through music

- memorize with the help of tone, rhythm;

- improve pronunciation;

- develop for basic skills of the language learning process.

It can overcome the students’ resistance to learning English by making it an enjoyable experience.

At the end of the contest, the teacher of the jury lead by Lynn McCollough evaluated the best participants and awarded them with diplomas.
