OshSU Honored for Its Contribution to the World Nomad Games
Amanqan Kenjebaev, the Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of Kyrgyzstan in Osh Region, presented letters of appreciation to Osh State University and Rakhima Abdyrasulova, the creator of the “Kolomto” collection.
At the national traditional clothing competition “Sarkech,” held as part of the World Nomad Games, the university won third place and received 80,000 soms and valuable gifts. A creative team led by Vice-Rector for Public Relations and Youth Policy Nurjamal Mapaeva represented the university at the award ceremony.
During the 6th World Nomad Games, the “Sarkech” traditional clothing competition was held at the “World of Nomads” ethnocultural village in Kyrchyn Jailoo. Representing Osh Region, OshSU’s Department of Design presented the “Kolomto” collection, created by Rakhima Abdyrasulova.
