About 200 employees were honored on the occasion of March 8
On March 6, a festive event dedicated to March 8 – International Women’s Day was held at Osh State University. About 200 employees of the university were honored during the ceremony.
Rector Kudayberdi Kojobekov congratulated the women on the holiday and noted their significant contribution to education, science, and public life.
As part of the celebration, employees were awarded the university medal, Certificates of Honor, and Letters of Appreciation, along with monetary prizes. The results of the volleyball tournament organized by the university’s Trade Union were also announced. Among colleges, the Medical College team became the winner. Among institutes and faculties, the team of the Kyrgyz–Chinese Faculty took first place.
The winners received cups, diplomas, and cash prizes. In addition, the best player, attacker, defender, and blocker of the tournament were selected and awarded gifts.
The festive event was accompanied by concert performances and congratulatory speeches.
