Joint Degree Students Triumph in Surgery Olympiad
Students of the joint degree program between Osh State University and Ural State Medical University achieved outstanding results at the IX internal stages of the XXXIV Moscow International Student Surgery Olympiad named after Academician M.I. Perelman.
On December 11, in Yekaterinburg, 5th-year students in the field of medical treatment, Azamat Imarov and Eldos Kamchiev, won first place in the endovideo surgery category. They demonstrated high proficiency in modern minimally invasive surgical techniques, setting an example of professional excellence.
The winners received their diplomas from USMU Rector Yuri Semyonov.
The collaboration between OSU and USMU has been ongoing since 2021. Under this agreement, students receive a joint degree in “Medical Treatment,” “Dentistry,” and “Pediatrics”: three years of study at OSU, three years at USMU, and diplomas from both universities.
