Solar and Wind Energy Production Training For Students
Now, students at Osh State University studying in the field of energy will have the opportunity to work with practical equipment for producing electricity from solar and wind energy. This decision was made at the University’s Board of Trustees meeting on December 11.
At the meeting, the proposal of Professor Idiris Kenzhaev from the Department of Energy, Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, and Information Technologies, to purchase equipment related to renewable energy sources within the framework of the Project SILKWAY, was supported.
Additionally, the meeting addressed providing discounts on contractual fees for socially disadvantaged students, granting financial independence for the “Bilim” General Education School and the “Iyman” Educational and Training Complex, approving the additional budget for the “OshSU” football club for the 2024–2025 academic year, approving the 2026 budget and special funds of the university, and authorizing bonus payments to university staff based on the results of 2025.
The meeting was attended by the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees, Baltagul Nurunbetov, board members, and specialists from the relevant departments.
