On April 22, Osh State University welcomed a Chinese delegation led by Mukai Zharkynbek, Rector of the Xinjiang Pedagogical Institute, along with Bakhtiyor Rasulov, Rector of the Andijan Pedagogical Institute. During the visit, the parties signed an agreement to officially establish the "Xinjiang-Central Asia Preschool Education Alliance."
This agreement follows an earlier visit by the Rector of Osh State University, Kudaiberdi Kozhobekov, to the Xinjiang Pedagogical Institute, where discussions were held on potential collaboration. As a result, the decision was made to form an alliance focused on primary and inclusive education, with participation from one university each in Kyrgyzstan, China, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. The alliance aims to enhance preschool education, develop joint educational programs, establish inclusive learning environments, and eventually open kindergartens across the region.
"During our visit to China, we explored the educational infrastructure of the Xinjiang Pedagogical Institute and various preschools, and discussed launching a practical training lab for kindergarten professionals and educators for children with disabilities. Today, we formalized our commitment by signing an agreement to create an educational alliance among four countries. This initiative will promote the exchange of teaching methods, curricula, and expertise. Our long-term goal is to establish a modern kindergarten based on shared experiences. Furthermore, we plan to collaborate in academic mobility, scientific research, and other areas of education," noted Rector Kozhobekov.
As part of the visit, the delegation also toured Osh State University’s "Bilim" education complex and its primary education centers, "Zirek."
