OshSU Instructors Take Part in Conference on Person-Centered Teaching in Uzbekistan

Faculty members from the Institute of Philology and Intercultural Communication at Osh State University took part in an international scientific and practical conference titled “Introducing a Person-Centered Approach in Teaching Literature and Art.” The conference took place on April 19 at the Uzbek State University of World Languages.

During the plenary session, Zamira Sabiralieva represented the institute with a welcoming address and delivered a presentation on “Reflecting the Cognitive-Linguistic Worldview Through Humor and National Stereotypes.” Instructors Gulmira Mamytova, Zhipargul Kasymova, and Tolgonay Temiralieva also played active roles in sectional discussions, offering their insights and recommendations.

According to the participants, the conference provided a platform for exchanging experiences on modern educational techniques. They discussed innovative and creative approaches to teaching literature and explored how to enhance the learning process by focusing on the individual needs and characteristics of students.
