A new public association, the Osh Regional Scientific and Medical Society of Morphologists, has been formed based at Osh State University. Associate Professor Kyialbek Sakibaev has been elected as its chairman.
On February 13, a constituent meeting was held in Osh, bringing together faculty members, researchers, and medical professionals from universities, colleges, and research institutes across the city and region. During the meeting, the draft charter of the association was approved, and a decision was made to affiliate with the Russian Interregional Public Association “Scientific Medical Society of Anatomists, Histologists, and Embryologists” as the Osh Regional Branch.
This newly established society is a voluntary organization that brings together educators, scientists, doctors, and biologists involved in scientific research, education, and practical work in human and animal anatomy, histology, cytology, embryology, anthropology, and related fields.
The primary objective of the association is to unite and coordinate the efforts of morphologists in the region, enhance the quality of education in these disciplines, and address challenges in practical medicine. The society plans to organize a range of academic and professional events, including thematic and targeted conferences, congresses, symposia, seminars, master classes, and other activities.
