EU Ambassador Visits Osh State University

On October 27, a series of events were held at Osh State University with the participation of Rémi Duflot, the European Union Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan.

First, the Ambassador delivered a guest lecture to students, sharing insights into international cooperation and cultural relations. During the meeting, students had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange views.

Later, a “Youth and University Day” was organized as part of the European Film Festival. As part of the event, the Hungarian historical drama Semmelweis was screened in the university’s main assembly hall.

Following the screening, a panel discussion was held, and the festival was brought to a close. Students who had actively contributed to organizing the event were also recognized.

The festival aimed to foster young people’s cultural interests, promote international cooperation, and strengthen intercultural understanding through cinema.

At the end of the event, Rémi Duflot presented certificates of appreciation to student volunteers.
