OshSU Holds “Til Bilgi” Competition
On September 23, the Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Engineering and Information Technologies held the “Til Bilgi” intellectual competition to mark the 37th anniversary of Kyrgyz being granted the status of the state language.
The event was opened by Institute Director Bektur Azimov, who emphasized the importance of knowing the Kyrgyz language for IT professionals as well. He highlighted the need to contribute to the development of the native language by developing artificial intelligence in Kyrgyz and translating IT programs into Kyrgyz.
During the competition, students answered questions on the Kyrgyz language, national values, traditions, proverbs, and phraseological expressions, testing their knowledge and logical thinking skills. At the end, active participants received awards.
The intellectual competition was organized by Tazagul Aibashova and Nazgul Takhyrova, lecturers at the Interfaculty Department of the Kyrgyz Language.
