The first graduates who successfully completed the dual degree education program jointly implemented by Osh State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University have received diplomas that meet international education standards after successfully defending their graduation theses.
According to the program requirements, students studied at Osh State University during their first and second years, and continued their third and fourth years at L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University. A total of 15 students successfully completed the program, including six graduates who received honors diplomas in the Translation Studies program.
The graduates of the dual degree program are expected to pursue careers in international organizations, educational institutions, and their respective professional fields, contributing to the development of their countries.
It is worth noting that on September 7, 2022, Osh State University and L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University signed an agreement on the joint training of specialists within the framework of international cooperation. Based on this agreement, the Kazakh Language and Culture Center of Eurasian National University was officially opened at Osh State University on December 6, 2022. During the same academic year, the first students were admitted to the dual degree education program in Russian Language and Literature and Translation Studies.
Currently, within the framework of cooperation between the two universities, dual degree bachelor's and master's programs are successfully being implemented in Russian Language and Literature, Translation Studies, Foreign Language: Two Foreign Languages, Physics, and Mathematics, with students continuing their studies.
