Opening an archaeozoology center is under consideration
The opening of a филиал of the archaeozoological “ZooStan” center is under consideration. On March 31, Rector Kudaiberdi Kojobekov met with a delegation including Director William Rendu, researcher Svetlana Schneider, and representatives of the “Sulaiman-Too” museum complex.
The parties noted the strong scientific potential of archaeological research in the Fergana Valley and the Pamir-Alay region, while also highlighting the lack of laboratory facilities. The project’s implementation, infrastructure, staffing, and integration with educational programs were discussed. The new center is expected to strengthen graduate and doctoral studies and expand student research opportunities.
