OshSU Strengthens Cooperation with the University of Business and Science

On January 29, a delegation from the University of Business and Science (Uzbekistan) visited Osh State University (OshSU).

They were led by OshSU’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Hamidullo Mirzaakhmedov. The delegation included Vice-Rector for Scientific Research and Innovation Dilshod Kholmatov, Vice-Rector for Finance and Economics Bakhtinur Badiev, Deputy Chairman of the Supervisory Board Zufar Khurramov, Rector’s Advisor Shokhruh Mamadaliev, Director of the University Medical Clinic Erkinjon Matholikov, Head of International Relations Department Jasur Isroilov, and Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Olimjon Sobirov.

During the meeting, both sides discussed the universities’ main directions, achievements, and opportunities for experience exchange. Future plans for cooperation, academic mobility, medical education, and innovative projects were also discussed.

The delegation visited OshSU’s Institute of Mathematics, Physics, Technology and Information Technology, the Data Center, the “Next Generation Hub,” the Medical Center, and international faculties, learning about digitalization, innovative startups, and IT and medical projects.

It should be noted that OshSU and Namangan University of Business and Science signed a cooperation memorandum in 2024.

The University of Business and Science in Namangan was established in 2022 and currently has more than 35,000 students. The university offers 40 undergraduate programs and 16 master’s programs.
