Our Students Win Third Place at International Olympiad
The “Astramed” team, representing the Faculty of Medicine of Osh State University, achieved 3rd place in the International Subject Olympiad held on November 27 at the Tashkent State Medical Institute in Uzbekistan.
The competition consisted of four stages, during which participants completed written test assignments, answered oral examination questions, solved situational clinical cases, and demonstrated practical medical skills.
The team was coached and guided by Kursanbek Turdubaev, Head of the Department of Pediatrics and Pediatric Infectious Diseases at the Faculty of Medicine.
This year’s Olympiad brought together 250 students from 23 medical universities across Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Russia, Belarus, and Uzbekistan.
Osh State University congratulates the “Astramed” team on their outstanding achievement and wishes them continued success.
