Faculty members from the Department of Social Work at the Institute of Economics, Business, and Management of Osh State University visited a boarding school for deaf children in the Kara-Suu district, where they organized a series of educational and social activities for students.
During the visit, the faculty conducted thematic master classes for teenagers with special needs. The program also featured interactive activities designed to develop creativity, enhance self-confidence, and strengthen social and communication skills. At the end of the event, students received commemorative gifts.
The visit was held on December 3 in honor of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. The initiative aimed to raise public awareness about social issues, highlight the importance of fostering an inclusive society, encourage active participation of people with disabilities in community life, and promote respect for human rights.
The administration of the boarding school expressed gratitude for the social contribution of the OSU faculty and presented them with a Letter of Appreciation.
